My PhD

My PhD is entitled 'Graduate Entrepreneurial Learning'

It is a longitudinal study of the development of nascent graduate entrepreneurs (NAGRENTS) in the creative sector.

The aim of the research is to provide an insight into the ways that NAGRENTS develop. The research will investigate three inter-related themes – the development of their entrepreneurial capabilities, the progress of their entrepreneurial career, and the success of their business activities.

A practical aim is to be able to recommend ways that such graduates can be helped to achieve their entrepreneurial ambitions.

The research focuses on graduates from 'creative' degree subjects, starting a business in the the creative sector.

I am doing the PhD part-time at the Teesside University Business School (TUBS) and am delighted to be supervised by Dr Jenny Naish (Assistant Dean: Partnerships) and Dr John Blenkinsopp (Reader in Management)
